Pricing & Subscriptions
CrateHouse pricing is simple, transparent, and built around flexibility. You only pay for the storage you use, with no lock-in contracts or oversized storage commitments.
Full pricing amounts can be found on our Pricing page.

How Pricing Works
Your subscription consists of two parts:

1. Monthly Service Fee
The CrateHouse service fee is a flat monthly charge that covers the systems and support behind your storage.

It includes account management, secure warehouse access, digital crate tracking, reception support, and access to our customer facilities.
By separating this from per-crate pricing, we keep storage transparent — so you only pay for the space you use, plus the operational support that makes the system simple and flexible.

A flat monthly service fee applies to all active customers. This covers account management, warehouse access, digital tracking, administration, and ongoing support.

2. Monthly Fee Per Crate
Each crate assigned to your account incurs a monthly storage fee. The more crates you store, the more space you use. Crates can be added or returned at any time.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.

When Payments Start & End
-
Storage charges begin once packed crates are checked in and placed into storage.
-
If a crate is checked out and in your possession, it remains on subscription.
-
Subscription payments for individual crates end only once the crate is returned empty and checked back into the warehouse.
There are no long-term contracts. You can scale your storage up or down at any time.

Delivery & Collection Fees
Delivery services are charged separately from storage.
-
Delivery and collection are charged one way (one charge for delivery, one charge for pickup).
-
Customers may choose to prepay for deliveries or be charged after completion.
-
Additional handling or removalist fees may apply depending on access conditions (for example: stairs without lift access, difficult loading zones, long carry distances, or restricted access).
If a delivery cannot be completed due to customer-related issues — such as no one being present, inaccessible premises, or incorrect details — the delivery fee will still apply.
Customers looking to minimise costs can choose self check-in and check-out at our warehouse, avoiding delivery fees entirely.

Bonds
A bond is taken for each crate assigned to your account. Bond amounts are listed on the Pricing page.
Bonds are typically organised prior to crate allocation, and customers will be contacted in advance to arrange payment where required.
The bond acts as security against damage or loss. Bonds are fully refundable once the crate is returned empty and in reasonable condition.
“Reasonable condition” means the crate maintains full functionality — including structural integrity, wheels, handles, and locking mechanisms. CrateHouse will never supply a crate with limited functionality, and we expect crates to be returned in the same working condition (allowing for fair wear and tear).

Late or Missed Payments
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Late payments may incur additional fees and may result in restricted access to stored items until resolved.

Transparent & Scalable
CrateHouse was built to eliminate hidden fees and unnecessary storage costs. You stay in control — add crates, return crates, choose delivery or self-service — and only pay for the space you actually use.
