Self Check-In & Check-Out

CrateHouse allows customers to collect and return crates themselves, giving full control over timing while keeping costs low. Self check-in and check-out is the most flexible and cost-effective way to manage your storage.

Collecting New Crates (Self Check-Out)

When you arrive at the warehouse, speak with reception and let us know how many crates you’d like to collect. If you’re new to CrateHouse, our team will complete your onboarding before proceeding.

Once onboarded, your crates will be allocated to your account and brought down from storage into the loading zone. From there, you can load the crates into your vehicle or trailer. Staff are available to assist if needed.

You can then take the crates home, pack them at your own pace, and securely lock them once filled. When you’re ready, return the packed crates to the warehouse for storage.

Returning Packed Crates (Self Check-In)

Bring your packed and locked crates back to the warehouse during operating hours. Let reception know you’re returning crates, and our team will check them in and place them into storage. Your storage subscription begins once the crates are stored.

Checking Out Existing Crates

If you already have crates in storage and would like to access them, let reception know which crate numbers you’d like to check out. While your crates are retrieved, you’re welcome to wait in the waiting area.

Once your crates are ready, they’ll be brought to the loading zone where you can load them into your vehicle. You may load the crates yourself or request assistance from our team.

Checked-out crates remain assigned to your account and continue to incur their normal subscription fee while they are in your possession. Subscriptions for individual crates only end once the crates are returned empty and checked back into the warehouse.

Crates can be kept for as long as you need and returned to storage at any time.
